These constantly changing environments made me deeply curious about how people think, how they live, and how to connect despite the cultural and language differences.

When I was 14, I discovered animation through a school course, and it unlocked a new medium for me to express myself without needing language. That eventually led me to design school, where I came across product design. It was the same craft of understanding people and their problems, something I had been subconsciously practicing my whole life, but now I could use that understanding to build something that solves or eases the problem and fits into their life.

I was hooked when I saw people use the first product I built and actually enjoy it. That experience led me to pursue my Master’s in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. Since then, I’ve worked on everything from location based social products and streaming experiences to transportation systems and AI assisted tools. I like problems where I can spend time understanding people, their mental models, the context around them, and the behaviors that shape an experience before thinking about the interface. I enjoy ambiguity, but consumer products interest me a bit more because I want my work to end up in people’s hands and become part of their everyday lives.
